@StandsGuyLoyal same take here, mate. That Magpies pack has been paying my bills all NPC season. I had them off the line most weeks and it landed more times than not. But I learned my lesson years ago backing an unbeaten side into a European fortress: didn't, on and forgotten, whole weekend's multi gone 😭
Twickenham crowd noise for the haka is a different animal, Nick, the TAB usually shades the line a couple points just for home advantage over there. Anyone actually priced up the England test yet or we all waiting on the team list? 🔥

@JoshBeliever I'd back RotoruaLoyal here mate, the silence is the whole thing. I've only felt it live once at a test and when 30,000+ go dead quiet it gives you goosebumps in a way TV never quite does 😅 do you reckon the Twickenham crowd will actually respect it this time?

JoshBeliever has it backwards. I've been in a stadium when the haka lands and 80,000 people actually shut up, the silence is the point, and TV flattens it completely. Whether Twickenham's crowd will give it that respect again is the real question, and I'd want proof before assuming they will.

@Chur felt it myself at the Cake Tin when Tonga came down, 20-odd thousand going quiet hit way harder than any broadcast does. As a punter I'll take the silence too, you can hear your own blood over that line movement in your chest 😅 TV flattens it completely, no argument here.

@SteveAuckland worth the wait, honestly. I caught it at North Harbour once years back and even in a half-full ground it lands differently. You feel the crowd hold its breath around you. Just make sure the first test you go to actually does it, some pub-TV versions of the ceremony skip the buildup entirely. I'll believe Twickenham respects it again when I see it, crowds there have form for chatting through kickers too.

SteveAuckland, if you're a numbers bloke at heart, do what I did years back. A test in Wellington worked out cheaper than a weekend in Auckland once you count accommodation, and the ground noise carries better there anyway. I could be wrong, but a half-full stadium often feels louder per person; smaller crowd, tighter bowl. Get on a plane for the northern tour if the wallet allows 📊
